Recipe Analyser, Recipe Lab and Recipe Frames are free to use on the Recipe Room website. You don’t need an account. We believe everyone should have access to tools like these. We’re starting on the website so you can play around, test them out and tell us what you think. We’ll keep improving them with community feedback and gradually bring these features into the app.

Choose a tool

Recipe Analyser

Read the recipe settings stored in an original Fujifilm JPEG or RAF file, then copy or download them.

Recipe Lab

Browse community recipes and try approximate previews on your photographs, or create your own recipe.

Recipe Frames

Arrange photographs, settings, text and credits into customisable frames to download and share.

Your photos and privacy

Photo analysis, previews and editing happen locally in your browser. During normal analysis, previewing, editing and downloads, we don’t upload or collect your selected photographs, extracted settings, custom recipe drafts, crops, text or frame designs on Recipe Room servers. The tools still download the software and assets they need. Recipe Lab also requests public recipes and camera information. These requests don’t include your local photo contents or editing work. Ordinary hosting and security request information, such as IP addresses and request logs, is separate from your photos and edits.

If you choose to email frames

Where Email frames is enabled, it is optional. You enter a recipient address, review the consent notice and choose Send before the finished PNG frames and address are sent through our server to Resend. Original photo files and the editable session stay in your browser. Resend’s published policy states that email and log data is retained for 30 days on Free, Pro and Scale plans, and backups persist for 7 days. Enterprise retention can differ. The recipient’s email service and any copies they keep have their own retention. Read our Privacy Policy for the full local-processing and service-provider information. Our Terms include the relevant software and material licences.

Keep your work before leaving

Photos and editing sessions live in the current browser tab. There is no account save or automatic session recovery. Refreshing, leaving or closing the page ends the session, so download anything you want to keep first. When work is in progress, following a normal website link asks you to confirm before discarding it. Refresh and tab-close warnings are controlled by your browser and may not appear in every situation. A downloaded photo, frame or recipe is a file on your device; it isn’t a saved editable website session.
