Posts are for the photographs, stories, and moments you want to share with the community. They’re separate from Recipes and can be published more often. A Post can stand on its own. If the photographs were made with a Recipe, you can link that Recipe so people can open the settings behind the look.

Publish a Post

  1. Tap the create button.
  2. Choose Post.
  3. Add your photograph or photographs.
  4. Add a title and caption.
  5. Add useful tags.
  6. Choose the camera model and film simulation when relevant.
  7. If you used a Recipe, search for it and link it.
  8. Optionally add the Post to a collection.
  9. Publish.

Let Recipe Room check the cover

When the cover is an untouched original Fujifilm photograph, Recipe Room checks it quietly for supported Recipe settings while you prepare the Post. If useful settings are found, you can create a Recipe with those details already filled in. If nothing useful is found, you can continue posting without an interruption. Read Recipe Analyser for supported files, saved analyses, and the standalone flow. You can link one public Recipe to a Post. It can be yours or one shared by another photographer. Search Recipe Room, choose the Recipe used for the photographs, and link it. The Recipe remains owned by its creator, while your Post remains yours. If you use the same Recipe again, publish another Post and link the existing Recipe again. You don’t need to recreate it for every shoot.
If the public Recipe already exists, link it instead of publishing the same settings as a new Custom Recipe. This keeps the creator, settings, and community examples connected.

No Recipe? Post anyway

Not every photograph needs a Recipe. A Post can be about a place, person, project, test frame, behind-the-scenes moment, or anything else that belongs in your photography story. Only add a Recipe when it accurately reflects how the photographs were made.

After publishing

Your public Post appears on the Posts tab of your profile. It may also be found through Home, Explore, Search, tags, camera or film simulation results, and any public collection containing it. When a Recipe is linked, people can open its full settings and browse other Posts made with it. The linked Post also becomes another example on the Recipe.

Make a useful Post

  • Lead with a strong photograph.
  • Use the caption for the story, conditions, or process that matters.
  • Add accurate camera, film simulation, and tags.
  • Link the Recipe only when it was used.
  • Keep captions and tags relevant rather than adding unrelated popular terms.
