Recipe Room provides reporting tools, personal controls, moderation review, and direct contact routes for concerns that need extra care.

Immediate Danger

Recipe Room is not an emergency service. If someone is in immediate danger, contact the appropriate local emergency service first.

What Safety Covers

Safety concerns can include:

• Harassment, bullying, hate, threats, sexual harassment, or unwanted contact.
• Suspicious links, scams, fraud, impersonation, fake engagement, or account compromise.
• Privacy violations, private images shared without permission, exposed locations, or secretly recorded content.
• Nudity or sexual content, graphic violence, self-harm or suicide, eating disorders, or dangerous activities.
• Prohibited sales, illegal activity, or content that may place someone at risk.
• Child sexual abuse or exploitation, child sexual abuse material, grooming, sextortion, underage accounts, or any other risk to a child.

Personal Safety Controls

Recipe Room includes controls that let you shape your own experience:

• Hide removes a post, recipe, or collection from your view.
• Show more and show fewer tune recommendations over time.
• Mute hides an account’s future content from your feed without notifying them.
• Block separates both accounts, removes follows in both directions, and prevents future interaction where supported.
• Report asks Recipe Room to review content or an account against the Community Guidelines.

Child Safety

Recipe Room has a zero-tolerance approach to child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE) and child sexual abuse material (CSAM). For child safety concerns, including suspected child sexual abuse or exploitation, contact the child safety point of contact at safety@reciperoom.io. You do not need an account to do so. See the child safety section of the Safety Standards for what is prohibited, how to report a concern, how Recipe Room responds, and how to reach the child safety point of contact.

Sensitive or Harmful Content

You can report posts, recipes, collections, and profiles that may involve harassment, threats, hate, sexual harassment, self-harm, dangerous activities, privacy violations, underage use, or other safety concerns. If you report self-harm or suicide, Recipe Room may show crisis support resources. Child safety reports and credible risk of immediate harm are prioritised for urgent review.
