What We Are Exploring
The current direction is a controlled creator platform inside Recipe Room. Approved creators would be able to monetize eligible brand-new custom recipes through the app. The aim is to give creators a clearer way to build a profile, share their images and settings, and earn from high-quality original work while keeping the buyer experience simple and trustworthy. How Ownership Is Expected To Work
Creators are expected to keep ownership of their recipe content. The current model being shaped is that an approved creator would grant Recipe Room a license to host, market, sell, distribute, and provide paid access to an eligible recipe while monetization is enabled. That means buyers would purchase paid access through Recipe Room, while the creator would receive seller earnings or royalties under future seller terms. What May Be Eligible
We expect eligibility to focus on brand-new original custom recipes created by the approved creator. Forked recipes are not eligible because they start from another creator’s recipe. Community recipes are not eligible because their settings remain unchanged from another creator’s recipe. Copied, purchased, duplicate, or otherwise derivative recipes are also not eligible. What Still Needs To Be Finalized
Before launch, Recipe Room still needs to finalize areas such as:- Seller approval and verification.
- Recipe eligibility rules.
- Pricing and platform fees.
- Buyer access and refund rules.
- Seller earnings, payout timing, and payout checks.
- Creator protections, attribution, and misuse review.
- Support, moderation, tax, legal, and finance processes.
