Recipe Room is a place for photographers to share both the work they make and the camera settings behind it. Everything starts with the community: photographers publish the Recipes, try them, link them to Posts, and show how the same look behaves in different conditions. It's more than a place to store Recipes. Photographers can follow each other, talk about the work, build collections, and grow a profile around the photographs and settings they share. ## Posts and Recipes have different jobs Posts are for photographs, captions, stories, and moments. They're the regular updates you share with the community. Recipes keep a complete Fujifilm camera setup in one place so it can be saved, tried, linked, collected, or Forked. A Post doesn't become a Recipe when you link one. The Post remains the photograph and its story. The Recipe remains the settings and belongs to the photographer who published it. ## Create a Recipe once You don't need to rebuild the same Recipe every time you take photographs with it. 1. Publish the Recipe once with its camera, film simulation, settings, description, and reference photographs. 2. Use that Recipe whenever it suits a shoot. 3. Share the resulting photographs as Posts. 4. Link the existing Recipe to each relevant Post. The Recipe can be yours or any public Recipe from the community. Choose the one that was actually used. ## One Recipe can gather many interpretations When different photographers link Posts to the same Recipe, the Recipe becomes a useful record of how those settings look across places, subjects, light, and cameras that support them. That creates two useful routes: * Someone can start with a Post, open the linked Recipe, and find the photographer who shared it. * Someone can start with a Recipe, browse the Posts linked to it, and find photographers using that look. Linking gives the community more context without forcing anyone to duplicate the Recipe. ## Your profile keeps everything together Posts and Recipes have separate spaces on your profile, so people can browse your photography without losing the settings you share. Public collections let you group useful work around a look, mood, camera, place, or project. People can follow you to keep up with what you publish next. Activity also lets Recipe creators see when the community saves, uses, or links their work where those notifications are available. ## Explore is shaped around you Explore isn't a random grid. Recipe Room uses signals such as the photographers you follow, the Recipes you save, the Posts you engage with, the things you search for, and the work you create to improve what it recommends. Explore can introduce you to work outside the people you already follow, while Search helps when you know the creator, camera, film simulation, tag, Post, Recipe, or collection you want. A “Community Recipe” is a specific Recipe type: an unchanged version of another creator's Recipe that keeps the original source visible. ## Where to go next See exactly what happens when a Post links to a Recipe.
