# Getting Discovered

> How Recipes, linked Posts, profiles, collections, Search, and Explore can lead people to your work.

Discovery in Recipe Room is built around useful connections. A person might find one of your photographs first, or they might find the Recipe, collection, camera, film simulation, or creator profile behind it.

## Recipes create a lasting route to your work

A Post captures a moment. A Recipe can keep helping people find your work each time someone searches for its look, saves it, adds it to a collection, or links a new Post to it.

When you publish a useful Recipe, people can reach it through:

* Search results.
* Explore recommendations.
* Camera, film simulation, and tag results.
* Your Recipe profile.
* Public collections.
* Posts linked to the Recipe.

Each route can lead back to the photographer who shared the Recipe.

## Linked Posts add context

Every relevant linked Post shows another way a Recipe has been used. That helps the community judge the settings across different subjects, light, places, and photographers.

You can link your own Recipe or any public Recipe used for the photographs. Accurate links help both the Post and Recipe become more useful. They also help the Recipe creator receive visible credit.

Recipes and Recipe-linked Posts give discovery systems more useful context than an unlinked photograph alone. That context can create more opportunities to appear through related Recipes, camera and film simulation results, Search, and Explore. It does not guarantee a particular position or amount of exposure.

## Your profile brings the story together

Your profile gives people one place to browse your Posts, Recipes, and public collections. The content remains separated into clear areas, but the creator stays consistent across all of them.

A person who finds one Post can open your profile, browse the Recipes you share, and follow you for future work.

## Collections show your point of view

A public collection can help people discover your taste as well as your own photographs. Build focused collections around a look, camera, project, place, or technique, then share the set with the community.

The original creators remain attached to every Post and Recipe inside.

## Make your work easier to find

* Publish complete Recipes with honest reference photographs.
* Link Posts to the Recipe actually used.
* Add accurate camera and film simulation details.
* Use specific tags that describe the work.
* Write clear titles and useful descriptions.
* Keep public collections focused.
* Take part in genuine conversations and follow work you value.

## What Recipe Room does not guarantee

No action guarantees a specific ranking, recommendation, audience size, or amount of exposure. Explore and Search are designed to help people find relevant work, not to promise placement.

Recipe Room may adjust its discovery systems as the community grows. Useful content, accurate connections, and genuine interest remain the best foundation.
