# Recipe Analyser

> Read Fujifilm recipe settings from an original photo, then create, copy, save, or discard the result.

Recipe Analyser reads supported Fujifilm settings from an original photograph. It gives you a quicker starting point for a new Recipe while keeping every detected value available for review.

## Analyse a photograph

1. Tap the create button.
2. Choose **Recipe Analyser**.
3. Select an untouched original Fujifilm JPEG, or choose **Browse files** for a RAF file.
4. Wait while Recipe Room checks the photograph.
5. Review the detected Recipe settings, exposure, and equipment details.
6. Choose what to do next.

| Action | What happens |
| -------------------- | --------------------------------------------------------------------- |
| Create recipe | Opens a new Recipe with the detected details ready to review and edit |
| Save analysed recipe | Keeps the analysis privately in **Saved > Analysed Recipes** |
| Copy settings | Copies the detected settings so you can paste them elsewhere |
| Discard analysis | Removes the unsaved analysis |

## Start a Recipe from a photograph

You can also begin with **Recipe** in the create menu and choose your reference photographs as normal.

Recipe Room checks the original cover photograph before preparing it for upload. Any settings it can use are added to the new Recipe, and the detected exposure and equipment summary is placed in the editable description.

Review every value, add the title and other details, and change anything you need before publishing. If the photograph doesn't contain useful settings, you can continue and fill in the Recipe yourself.

## Use it while creating a Post

When you start a Post, Recipe Room checks the original cover photograph quietly in the background. You can keep writing and preparing the Post while this happens.

If useful settings are found, you'll see an option to create a Recipe from them. If nothing useful is found, the Post flow continues without an interruption or error.

Creating the Recipe is optional. You can dismiss the suggestion and continue with the Post.

## Return to a saved analysis

Only **Save analysed recipe** creates a saved analysis. Open **Saved**, then **Analysed Recipes**, to find the private results you chose to keep.

Open a saved analysis to review the detected details again. You can choose **Copy settings**, use the analysis to create a Recipe, or delete it when you no longer need it.

Analysed Recipes are private. Starting a normal Recipe or Post doesn't save an analysis automatically, and a saved analysis isn't published to your profile or the community.

## Use the original file

Recipe Analyser needs the untouched original file from the Fujifilm camera. A screenshot, edited export, cropped copy, or file with its camera information removed may not contain the settings needed for analysis.

For a Recipe or Post, only the cover photograph is checked. Missing values stay blank rather than being guessed.
