# Forgot Password

> Reset your password when you cannot log in.

Use forgot password if you can't remember your password or need to regain access to your account.

## Reset Your Password

1. Open the login screen.
2. Choose **Forgot Password**.
3. Enter the email address connected to your account.
4. Check your email for a reset link.
5. Open the link and choose a new password.
6. Return to Recipe Room and log in again.

Your new password must have at least eight characters, including one uppercase letter, one lowercase letter, and one number.

## Reset Link Timing

Password reset links are time-limited. If a link no longer works, request a new one and open the newest reset email.

## If the Email Does Not Arrive

* Check spam, junk, and promotions.
* Search for **Recipe Room**.
* Make sure you entered the email connected to the account.
* Wait a few minutes before requesting another link.

If you normally log in with Apple or Google, try that provider first. A password reset may not apply to an account that doesn't have a Recipe Room password.

## Security Note

After a password reset, you may need to log in again on your devices. Recipe Room support will never ask you to send your password or reset link.
