# Email Verification

> Confirm your email address and fix common verification issues.

Email verification helps protect your account and makes sure important account messages go to the right inbox.

## After Sign Up

When you create a Recipe Room account, we send a verification link to the email address you used.

1. Open your email inbox.
2. Find the Recipe Room verification email.
3. Open the verification link.
4. Return to Recipe Room and log in with the account you just verified.

## If You Cannot Find the Email

* Check spam, junk, promotions, or focused inbox folders.
* Search your inbox for **Recipe Room**.
* Make sure you signed up with the correct email address.
* Request a new verification email from the verification screen.

## If the Link Expired

Verification links are time-limited. If your link no longer works, request a new one. Use the newest email if you have requested the link more than once.

## If the Link Opens but the App Still Asks You to Verify

Close and reopen Recipe Room, then log in again with the same email address. Also check that you didn't verify a different account or use a different Apple or Google login.

If the verification screen still doesn't clear, contact [support@reciperoom.io](mailto:support@reciperoom.io) and include the email address you're trying to verify. Never send your password.

## Social Login

If you sign in with a supported social account, your email may already be confirmed by that provider. In that case, you may not need a separate Recipe Room verification email.
